Publication and Licensing Terms

The editorial board of the Bulletin of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine accepts for publication original articles from various fields of agricultural and veterinary sciences in the following speciality:

  • veterinary medicine.

The Bulletin "Veterinary Medicine" of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine accepts articles of a problem-setting and generalising nature that present the results of scientific research with statistical data processing and have theoretical and practical significance. Manuscripts that have been published previously, in whole or in part, are not accepted; manuscripts containing significant portions of already published text or experimental data are rejected.

Manuscripts are accepted in Ukrainian and English. The English version of an article is accepted only if it is a professional translation. If the English version is submitted after being translated using online translators, the materials will be rejected.

No more than one article by the same author (or co‑author) may be published in a single issue of the bulletin.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright to their works, specifically the right to:

  • use the article materials for educational and teaching purposes;
  • deposit a preprint, postprint, or the published version of the article in institutional, disciplinary, or personal repositories;
  • post articles on personal or institutional websites;
  • distribute articles for non‑commercial purposes.

The publisher undertakes to provide readers with access to the journal's materials under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

The CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license – “Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International” (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) – allows the reproduction and distribution of scientific articles or parts thereof exclusively for non‑commercial purposes, provided that the author of the article and the publication details of the issue are credited, with no right to distribute derivative works. The CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license allows you to:

  • Share – copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
  • Use the material for educational and research purposes.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution – you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the source, and indicate if changes were made;
  • NonCommercial – the material may not be used for commercial purposes;
  • NoDerivatives – if you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

Open Access

All published materials are freely available (open access) and may be used by other researchers for non‑commercial scientific purposes, provided that the terms of the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license are respected.

Mandatory Citation

When using the materials in any way, it is mandatory to cite the bibliographic information of the article from the Bulletin "Veterinary Medicine" of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and to provide a link to the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
