The article must be written in Ukrainian or English, with a length of at least 6 pages, using 1.5 line spacing. Font size should be 14 pt, except for certain sections. Each page should be printed on one side of a standard sheet (210×297 mm, A4 format); all margins – 20 mm, paragraph indentation – 12.5 mm.

The text of the article should be submitted in MS Word 97–2003 (.doc) format.

The structure and formatting of the article must be as follows:

  1. UDC (left, uppercase, bold, no paragraph indentation).
  2. AUTHOR'S LAST NAME AND INITIALS – one line after UDC, left, uppercase, bold, no paragraph indentation; after a comma – academic degree, academic title (regular font), according to the requirements for abbreviation of academic degrees, e-mail address, ORCID ID; below, the name of the institution or establishment where the author works, italicized, no paragraph indentation, justified. Repeat for each co‑author. E‑mail addresses and ORCID IDs must be provided for all authors.
  3. TITLE OF THE ARTICLE (one line after the author information, uppercase, bold, centered, no paragraph indentation).
  4. Abstract in Ukrainian, 500–600 characters (one line below the title, italicized, justified, with paragraph indentation, font size 12 pt); the abstract should concisely describe the essence of the article and what distinguishes it from previously known statements.
  5. Keywords (new line, italicized, with paragraph indentation, justified, 5–8 WORDS, font size 12 pt).
  6. Introduction (bold) – statement of the problem in general terms and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks. An analysis of recent research and publications that have addressed the problem, on which the author relies, highlighting unresolved parts of the general problem to which this article is devoted (one line after the keywords, with paragraph indentation, justified).
  7. The goal of the work (bold).
  8. Materials and methods of research (bold) – description of the experimental methods, animals, housing conditions, etc.
  9. Results of research and discussion (bold) – presentation of the main material with justification of the obtained results.
  10. Conclusions and prospects for further research (bold).
  11. Abstract in English – must be extended, written in good English, contain all structural elements of the article: Introduction, The goal of the work, Materials and methods, Results of research and discussion, Conclusions and prospects for further research, length 1800–2000 CHARACTERS, italicized. On a new line – Keywords.
  12. REFERENCES – list of references. The literature used is presented at the end of the article in the order of citation in the text, with consecutive numbering and in‑text references in square brackets. If the source is in Ukrainian, it must be transliterated. To do this, go to the transliteration website http://ukrlit.org/transliteratsiia and use the automatic translation. The references must be formatted according to the requirements of the APA international standard. The minimum number of sources is 15. For review articles – at least 30. Sources should have been published within the last 5–10 years (70%). Limited justified use of literature older than 10 years is allowed, e.g., references to a primary source to illustrate the historical aspect of the study, references to a publication describing a method that is still current, or references to a publication describing a scientific hypothesis with which the obtained results are compared. Avoid references to non‑scientific publications (websites, press releases, interviews, newspapers, and popular magazines), educational literature, unavailable sources, dissertation abstracts, and conference proceedings.
  13. ARTICLES IN ENGLISH must follow the structure described in points 1–12. The structural elements of an English‑language article are: Keywords, Introduction, The goal of the work, Materials and methods, Results of research and discussion, Conclusions and prospects for further research. Then follows an extended abstract in Ukrainian of 1800–2000 characters. After the abstract – REFERENCES.

Names of systematic taxa should be italicized (e.g., S. aureus).

All tables must be placed in the text after the first mention and consecutively numbered. The table itself is marked with the word Table 1 (italicized, right‑aligned). The table title starts on a new line (centered, no paragraph indentation, bold). The table itself is placed one line below its title, centered on the page, with table borders extending to the width of the article text. The table must have full borders. Table font size – 12 pt; text alignment in the left column – left‑aligned; in the table header and inside the table – centered.

Notes below the table are in bold, font size 11 pt.

Biometric evaluation of research results is mandatory.
